In July 2022, Tumbuan & Partners (T&P) acted as independent legal counsel for PT Tigaraksa Satria Tbk (TGKA) for the closing of sales and purchase agreement of the majority shares in PT Gramedia Digital Nusantara (GDN) which has been issued and subscribed by PT Digital Intisari Nusantara, an affiliate company of Kompas Gramedia Group.
TGKA is widely renowned as one of the sale and distribution of consumer’s products companies in Indonesia (including food, infant’s nutrition, home care and body care products).
The historic deal marks a new milestone for TGKA and GDN, creating a long-term partnership that shall serve in strengthening and developing the consumer products through e-commerce business application in Indonesia.
T&P team was led by our senior Partner, Jennifer Tumbuan, and senior associates Mada Herpadma and Risman Yansen Mario with the full support of other members of T&P. We are especially proud to act as the leading legal counsel for TGKA in structuring, drafting and finalizing all the transaction documents for this challenging transaction.
