Tumbuan & Partners (T&P) is proud to announce that our Associate, Nizam Safaraz, has passed the exam of the Indonesian Association of Data Privacy Professionals (Asosiasi Profesional Privasi Data Indonesia) and is fully certified as an Indonesian Data Protection Officer.

At T&P, Nizam has been involved in advising various domestic and international companies in drafting and/or reviewing their privacy policies and advising on various data privacy compliance matters such as in respect to data transfer, data localisation (in various sectors), as well as to the relevant registrations and/or notifications obligations.

With the rise of cyber-attacks, data breaches, and the various legal requirements to meet legislation, T&P hopes to be able to assist companies in ensuring their compliance with the prevailing Indonesian data protection regulations so as to ensure that personal data is managed most adequately.
