Tumbuan & Partners (T&P) is pleased to announce the promotion of Veronica Sylfani as a Partner of T&P, effective from 1 June 2022.

Veronica started her legal career in 2011 by joining T&P right after her graduation from Atmajaya University Jakarta. She is an active member of the Association of Indonesian Advocates (PERADI – Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia) and with more than 10 years of experience.

Veronica is very well versed in assisting major international and domestic business groups in various high-profile transactions, including public offerings, bonds and sukuk issuances, private placements, tender offers, mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate and debt restructuring transactions.

She is also closely involved in advising international banks, fund managers and other financial institutions, as well as public listed companies on compliance, governance and regulatory matters. One of the transactions under Veronica’s leadership, namely the rights issue of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM) with offerings in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Europe according to Regulation S with a value of more than IDR5,3 trillion, has been awarded with the Equity Market Deal of the Year 2016 by the ALB Indonesia Law Awards.

Veronica has also been involved in several transactions within T&P which contributed to the firm being awarded and/or nominated by a number of legal directories, including as the Boutique Law Firm of the Year 2015 by ALB Indonesia Law Awards, as the Transactional Boutique Law Firm of the Year 2019 by ALB Indonesia Law Awards, as the Finalist of the Indonesia Law Firm of the Year 2021 by ALB Indonesia Law Awards, as the Finalist of the Medical and Healthcare Law Firm of the Year 2021 by ALB Indonesia Law Awards, as the Finalist of the Debt Market Deal of the Year 2021 by ALB Indonesia Law Awards, and as the Finalist of the Project Finance Deal of the Year 2022 by ALB South East Asia Law Awards.
