HKHPM Organized a Webinar on The Topic of Suspension of Payment of Debts and Bankruptcy of Public Companies and The Impact to its Public Shareholders

Last August 2022, the Indonesian Capital Market Legal Consultants Association (Himpunan Konsultan Hukum Pasar Modal  or HKHPM)  organized a webinar on the topic of suspension of payment of debts and bankruptcy (commonly referred to as PKPU) of issuers of public companies and its impact on the public shareholders.

The webinar was presented by distinguished professionals with different backgrounds including:

Mrs. Ucu Rufaidah, Director of the Capital Market Institution and Supporting Professionals of the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (Direktur Lembaga dan Profesi Penunjang Pasar Modal OJK) as the keynote speaker;

Mr. Edi Broto Suwarno, Director of the Capital Market Regulation of the  Indonesian Financial Services Authority  (Direktur Pengaturan Pasar Modal OJK);

Mr. Goklas Tambunan, Head of Listing 3 Division of the Indonesian Stock Exchange (Kepala Divisi Penilaian Perusahaan 3 BEI); and

Mr. Imran Nating, a licensed receiver (kurator) and a member of HKHPM,

Our Senior Partner, Jennifer B. Tumbuan, who also serves as the General Secretary of HKHPM, participated as the moderator in the webinar that was attended by approximately 140 participants.
