The Minister of Public Works and Public Housing has introduced the updated procedures to obtain the Construction Services Standard Certificates as stipulated under Regulation of Minister of Public Works and Public Housing No. 8 of 2022 concerning Procedures for Implementing Construction Services Standard Certificates to Ease the Business Licensing for Construction Service Business Actors (PMPUPR 8/2022).

PMPUPR 8/2022 sets the requirements and procedures for any Construction Service Business Entities (Badan Usaha Jasa Konstruksi – BUJK), Construction Worker (Tenaga Kerja Konstruksi – TKK), and Construction Service Certification Agency (Lembaga Sertifikasi Jasa Konstruksi) as the relevant business actors within the construction sector to obtain the Construction Services Standard Certificates (CSSC).

In order to obtain the CSSC, the relevant business actors shall fulfill its respective requirements. For BUJK, a Business Entity Certificate (Sertifikat Badan Usaha – SBU) that has been certified by the Business Entity Certification Agency as the required document, including Construction Work Competency Certificate (Sertifikat Kompetensi Kerja Konstruksi – Construction SKK) that has been certified by the Professional Certification Agency for the relevant TKK. Meanwhile, the Construction Services License is mandatory for the Construction Services Development Agency.

The application of the CSSC shall be submitted under the Risk-Based Approach Online Single Submission system by completing the required documents that will be verified and validated once the submitted documents have been declared complete and the business actor has paid the registration fee.
