Tumbuan and Partners attended the Focus Group Discussion regarding "The Development Direction of the Venture Capital Industry Policy" held by the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan)

In order to obtain comprehensive input on the plan of the changes to the key provisions in Indonesian Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan – OJK) Regulation No. 35/POJK.05/2015 on the Business Administration of Venture Capital Companies (POJK 35/2015), Tumbuan and Partners had the opportunity to attend the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) held by the OJK on October 3, 2022, in Wisma Mulia 2.

The idea of this FGD is to discuss the development of the regulatory policies for the Venture Capital Industry. OJK focused on several topics, specifically: (1) business activities of venture capital; (2) minimum issued/paid-up capital for venture capital; (3) minimum participation limit for the purchase of convertible bonds; (4) investment period and its extension; and (5) venture fund management.

The FGD was narrated by Mr. Markus Liman Rahardja from PT BRI Ventura Investama, Mr. Donald Wihardja from PT Metra Digital Investama, and Mr. Tito from OJK.
